After a string of five wins, Southern's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 57-49 to the South Gallia Rebels. The Tornadoes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Southern's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for South Gallia, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Southern and Glenwood will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Glenwood has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for South Gallia, they will challenge Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
