Grantsburg got themselves on the board against Cameron last Friday, but Cameron never followed suit. Grantsburg were fully in charge, breezing past Cameron 55-0.
Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their game two weeks ago, Cornell/Lake Holcombe were humbled. They took a 16-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Webster. The contest was a 16-16 toss-up at halftime, but Cornell/Lake Holcombe were outplayed the rest of the way.
Grantsburg's victory lifted them to 8-0 while Cornell/Lake Holcombe's defeat dropped them down to 6-3. We'll see if Grantsburg's success rolls on or if Cornell/Lake Holcombe are able to steal their positive momentum.
