Deer Valley waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Estrella Foothills Wolves get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Skyhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by seven runs or more this season.

Deer Valley got a massive performance out of Kyla Decker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and five RBI. Leila Hermosillo was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.

Deer Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Deer Valley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Estrella Foothills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.
