Lake Buena Vista is a perfect 3-0 against Jones since February of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Vipers will square off against the Fightin' Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Lake Buena Vista is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.
Lake Buena Vista's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Celebration 15-0. Considering the Vipers have won nine matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Allison Curtis made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Lake Buena Vista got a big performance out of Aiza Khan, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most hits Khan has posted since back in March. Tatiana Navarro was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Lake Buena Vista always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. They are 10-2 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Jones' offense. They lost 16-0 to Ocoee on Monday. The Fightin' Tigers haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Jones saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jasha Morris, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That hit marked the first that Morris has got this season.
Lake Buena Vista's record is now 10-12. As for Jones, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Lake Buena Vista hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .412. However, it's not like Jones struggles in that department as they've averaged .328. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Lake Buena Vista's way against Jones in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Lake Buena Vista made off with a 17-2 victory. Will the Vipers repeat their success, or do the Fightin' Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
