On Saturday, Central faced Bob Jones in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Central Red Devils might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Bob Jones Patriots an easy 72-46 win. The Red Devils' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Central's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jabria Lindsey, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards, and Madison Fuller, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. The matchup was Lindsey's third in a row with at least ten points.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Bob Jones, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-55 victory against Cartersville on the 27th. As for Bob Jones, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-57 loss against Hoover on the 21st.
