The Palmdale Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Palmdale Academy Charter School, posting a 79-36 win at home. The win was a breath of fresh air for Palmdale as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.
Jamari Owens was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Anthony Delouth, who scored 16 points.
Palmdale's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-18. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmdale won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Quartz Hill at 6:30 p.m. on January 17th. Quartz Hill will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, they will head out on the road to face off against Desert Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Desert Christian has now lost 12 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2.
