The Camden County Wildcats stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 69-34 victory over Colquitt County. The score was close at the half, but Camden County pulled away in the second half with 51 points.
Leading Camden County to victory were Elyiss Williams and Antwann Brown. Williams scored 14 points along with eight rebounds, while Brown scored 16 points along with six rebounds. Williams is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Murray, who scored eight points.
Camden County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which somehow isn't as good as their 17-5 record this season. As for Colquitt County, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
Camden County will head out on the road to face off against Richmond Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Richmond Hill will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while Camden County is ranked 63rd). As for Colquitt County, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Worth County at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th.
