After failing to score in their last match, South Lake made sure to put some goals up on the board against Zephyrhills on Friday. Everything went their way against the Zephyrhills Bulldogs as they made off with an 8-2 win. Considering the Eagles have won four games by more than five goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory got South Lake back to even at 4-4-3. As for Zephyrhills, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Lake will take on East Ridge in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Zephyrhills and Santa Fe Catholic will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
