Columbia Independent's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 52-17 loss at the hands of Christian Fellowship. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Columbia Independent in their matchups with Christian Fellowship: they've now lost four in a row.
Christian Fellowship's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Kate Bradley, who scored 7 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. Bradley hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Kylie Babich was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Columbia Independent's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Christian Fellowship, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia Independent will challenge La Monte at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Christian Fellowship won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Plaza Heights Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Hopefully Plaza Heights Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Tuesday.
