Virginia have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Chilhowie on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Virginia, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Their game three weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Virginia, but their most recent game may have softened the blow. They took their matchup against Central two weeks ago 41-27.
Last Friday, Chilhowie put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Northwood 59-9. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 52-0.
Their wins bumped Virginia to 3-1 and Chilhowie to 5-0. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Virginia and Chilhowie will really light up the scoreboard.
