There's no place like home for the Proviso East Pirates, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They snuck past Addison Trail with a 23-19 win on Tuesday. For Proviso East, this counts as revenge for the 33-25 loss Addison Trail walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Leading Proviso East to victory were Camiya Marshall and Mya Harrison. Marshall scored nine points along with four steals, while Harrison scored nine points along with 14 rebounds.
Proviso East is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. As for Addison Trail, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
