Softball Recap: Richlands Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Richlands, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Graham G-Men a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Blue Tornado might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Richlands has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Graham, they dropped their record down to 5-9 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Richlands will challenge rival Virginia High at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Graham is set to take on their familiar foe Lebanon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
