Waynedale had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-16, 25-11.

Spitler wasn't the only good server: Waynedale was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tuscarawas Central Catholic only served four aces.
Coincidentally, Waynedale and Tuscarawas Central Catholic will both be playing Garaway the next time they take the court. The Saints will head out to face the Pirates at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Golden Bears will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
