With a playoff game on the line, the Riverside Generals rose to the challenge on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 76-53 victory. The win was familiar territory for Riverside who now have four in a row.
Jaquan Wells continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Tae'Shuan Gelsey was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Riverside is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Westside, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-19.
Riverside will be playing at home against ED White at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Riverside is coming into the contest with four straight victories at home, so ED White is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Westside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
