While Zane Trace put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Piketon. The Pioneers were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Redstreaks. Considering the Pioneers have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Zane Trace is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Piketon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zane Trace will take on Paint Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Pioneers are facing the Bearcats at the right time seeing as the Bearcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Piketon, they will head out to take on Adena at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
