The Eastern Vikings can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Sunday. They blew past Gloucester City, posting a 85-49 win at home. The win was familiar territory for Eastern who now have three in a row.
Gloucester City's loss came despite strong showings from Jake Smith and Ryan James. Smith scored eight points along with eight rebounds, while James scored 11 points along with two steals. Smith hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Kadon Harris, who scored six points.
Eastern's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Gloucester City, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-12.
Eastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gloucester City, they will head out on the road to challenge Sterling at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
