Queen's Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Langtree Charter Academy Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-1  back in August.
 Queen's Grant started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 24-26, 25-16, 25-15,  15-2.
Queen's Grant's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Langtree Charter Academy, their victory  ended  a  six-match drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-17.
 Queen's Grant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Langtree Charter Academy, they will take on Lake Norman Charter at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
