Northwest had won three straight games and Alexander Greenfield did his part to make it four on Thursday. The Northwest Jaguars came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 69-65 W against the Gaithersburg Trojans thanks to Greenfield, who went 10-for-19 to rack up 22 points and six rebounds. Those 22 points gave him a new career-high.

Anthony Wells was another key player, going 5-for-11 on his way to 13 points and six boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played.

Northwest's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4. As for Gaithersburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Jaguars challenge the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gaithersburg, they will be playing at home against Clarksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
