With a playoff win on the line, St. George rose to the challenge on Friday. They strolled past the Flint River Academy Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 63-47. The win continues a trend for St. George's in their matchups with Flint River Academy: they've now won four in a row.

Despite the loss, Flint River Academy had strong showings from D. J. Baums, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, and Jamir Muhammad, who posted 15 points and eight boards. Baums has been hot, having posted ten or more boards the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Mason Jones, who had nine points.

St. George's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Flint River Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
