Basketball Recap: Math & Science College Preparatory Extends Home Winning Streak to 16

Math & Science College Preparatory extended their home winning streak to 16 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Andrew Cruz. The Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks took their match on Friday with ease, bagging an 86-20 win over the Stella High Charter Academy Eagles thanks in part to Cruz, who posted 24 points. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high.

Math & Science College Preparatory is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 46.9 points. As for Stella High Charter Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Math & Science College Preparatory has already played their next contest (against Middle College), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Stella High Charter Academy will take on Foshay at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
