The Charter Oak Chargers will challenge the Ontario Christian Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Charter Oak has given up an average of 54.1 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Charter Oak's last matchup with Bishop Amat could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Chargers lost 70-44 to the Lancers.

Despite the defeat, Charter Oak had strong showings from Xavier Green, who went 6-for-9 en route to 16 points and five boards, and Jayden Harris, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. Harris is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, Ontario Christian made easy work of San Dimas on Tuesday and carried off a 62-39 victory.
Ontario Christian found their leader in sophomore Heaven Chea, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 14 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for Chea. Mason Salazar was another key player, putting up 13 points and eight boards.
Ontario Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They are 4-1 when they've passed the ball that well.
Ontario Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Charter Oak, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Charter Oak has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 36.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Ontario Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Charter Oak strolled past Ontario Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2020 by a score of 55-40. Do the Chargers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
