Tyler Champion Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Hamilton Heights got the W thanks in part to Tyler Champion playing the best football he has all season. Champion picked up 222 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average receiving yardage north of 100 yards per game (109.7). He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 64 yards.
If the past is any indication, Champion could be in store for another big game when he takes on Tipton on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Champion saw the Blue Devils), he picked up 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

West Lafayette was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Dawson Martin did his best to prevent it. Martin was unstoppable, rushing for 148 yards and a touchdown.
