While Forge Christian put up plenty of points on Saturday, the same can't be said for Platte Canyon. The Fury simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Huskies 38-0. The Fury might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 28 points or more this season.

Quentin Torres was his usual excellent self, rushing for 152 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 68 receiving yards and one TD. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards. Treysen Eye also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Forge Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 220 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 153 rushing yards in six consecutive games.

Forge Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Platte Canyon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Forge Christian has already played their next matchup, a 42-7 win against Denver Christian on the 31st. As for Platte Canyon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-13 defeat against Englewood on the 30th.
