The Carvers Bay Bears can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They blew past Johnsonville 51-9 on the road. The win was nothing new for Carvers Bay as they're now sitting on five straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carvers Bay to victory, but perhaps none more so than D'Essence Graham, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Graham hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerchel Geathers-Washington, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Carvers Bay has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Johnsonville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing East Clarendon the next time they take the court. Johnsonville will head out to face East Clarendon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Carvers Bay will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
