Windsor is 4-0 against Centaurus since February of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Windsor Wizards will be playing at home against the Centaurus Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Windsor will be looking to keep their 13-game home win streak alive.
Windsor can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Silver Creek 84-47 at home. With Windsor ahead 51-25 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Windsor found their leader in underclassman Madden Smiley, who scored 22 points. Smiley continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of John Backhaus, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Centaurus' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 62-25 loss at the hands of Mead. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Centaurus has scored all season.
Windsor has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Centaurus, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Windsor against Centaurus in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 83-50 victory. Does Windsor have another victory up their sleeve, or will Centaurus turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
