If the Cross Keys Indians were riding high off their 41-21 takedown of the Howard Hawks last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Cross Keys was outmatched by Loganville Christian Academy on the road and fell 66-1. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cross Keys has scored all season.
Heidy Perez was Cross Keys' leading scorer, having posted a point.
Nicole Reseniz held things down on the boards with five rebounds.
Loganville Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Gabie Snell, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Snell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sanai Cyrus, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Cross Keys' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Loganville Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.
Cross Keys will head out on the road to square off against Walker at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Walker is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Loganville Christian Academy will take on Lakeview Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeview Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
