Sedan had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They blew past the South Haven Cardinals 16-1. Considering the Devils have won six games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sedan's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for South Haven, they dropped their record down to 4-3 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sedan beat the Cardinals by a score of 15-0 later that day.
