Mathews won the last time they faced Northampton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Blue Devils blew past the Yellowjackets 20-2. Considering the Blue Devils have won four games by more than ten runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory got Mathews back to even at 4-4. As for Northampton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mathews will challenge West Point at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northampton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
