Chino Hills gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They breezed past the Glendora Tartans to the tune of 40-0. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tartans, too.

Chino Hills had a senior duo take command as Alex Medyn threw for 110 yards and a pair of TDs and Jacob Jimenez rushed for 137 yards on only 13 carries.

Chino Hills' run defense was locked in: Glendora could only muster 2.2 yards per carry. While four picked up at least four total tackles, Troy Reams stood above the rest. He picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made four total tackles. Chino Hills didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chino Hills will take on El Camino at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Glendora, they will challenge Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
