On Monday, the Sheridan Blackhawks earned  a  10-5 win over the Indy Genesis HomeSchool  Indy Genesis. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Sheridan.

On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   eight  hits (and only one walk). Bales was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Cole Macintosh and  Jack Oland did most of the damage at the plate:  Macintosh  went 4-for-4 with four  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI, while  Oland  went 2-for-4 with five  RBI, a  stolen base,  and a  run. Another player making a difference was  Dayne Voege, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 On Indy Genesis HomeSchool's side,  Keyton Smith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Smith is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games he's  played.
 Sheridan's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Indy Genesis HomeSchool, they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-8-1.
 Sheridan will take on Taylor at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Taylor is coming into the  matchup with five straight  wins on the road,  so Sheridan will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum. As for Indy Genesis HomeSchool, they will  take on Bethesda Christian at 7:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
