Superior was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight  loss. They fell  62-51 to the St. Cecilia Bluehawks. One positive for the Wildcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
 Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Colten Butler, who  posted 24  points along with eight  rebounds and four  steals. That's the most  boards  Butler has posted since back in December of 2023.  Jaren Gilbert was another key player,  putting up six points and six  rebounds.
Superior's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for St. Cecilia, their win  ended  a  seven-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 1-14.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Superior will take on Red Cloud on Friday. Red Cloud is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.9  points per game  this season. As for St. Cecilia, they will face off against Aquinas at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. St. Cecilia has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
