Paxon School For Advanced Studies is 2-8 against Baldwin since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles will take on the Indians at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hayley Hinds spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Paxon School For Advanced Studies got a massive performance out of Sariyah Jackson, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5. That's the most hits Jackson has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Maleah Rouse, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
Paxon School For Advanced Studies always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as First Coast only posted an OBP of .233.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Baldwin). They never let Wolfson get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.
Lilly Hubbard looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
At the plate, Madison Crews was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Kendall North, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.
Paxon School For Advanced Studies' record is now 11-4. As for Baldwin, their record now sits at 12-4.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Paxon School For Advanced Studies hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .387. However, it's not like Baldwin struggles in that department as they've averaged .347. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Paxon School For Advanced Studies came up short against Baldwin in their previous matchup back in March, falling 7-3. Can the Golden Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
