Hannah-Pamplico have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Kingstree at Kingstree Sr. HS HOMECOMING at 7:30 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Hannah-Pamplico and Kingstree will really light up the scoreboard.
Hannah-Pamplico took their matchup against McBee two weeks ago by a conclusive 36-9 score.
Meanwhile, Kingstree ran circles around Cross, and the extra yardage (395 yards vs. 36 yards) paid off. Kingstree were fully in charge, breezing past Cross 46-0. With Kingstree ahead 39-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Their wins bumped Kingstree to 1-2 and Hannah-Pamplico to 3-0. In their victory, Kingstree relied heavily on senior Jamel Brayboy, who rushed for 112 yards and 3 touchdowns. Hannah-Pamplico will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
