Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Jenkins Warriors walked away with it. They pulled ahead with a 28-27 photo finish over Dutchtown. That's two games straight that Jenkins has won by exactly a single point.
Leading Jenkins to victory were Sylvester Harris and Jayaun Albert. Harris rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, while Albert rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
The win makes it two in a row for Jenkins and bumps their season record up to 5-7. As for Dutchtown, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Jenkins will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Cartersville at 7:00 p.m. on November 24th. Cartersville will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. Dutchtown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
