They were two  runs away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Griffith Panthers. As for Griffith, they will challenge Hammond Morton at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Governors will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
