After flying high against the Tok Wolverines last Tuesday, the Glennallen Panthers came back down to earth. Glennallen lost to the Lynx at home by a decisive 42-28 margin on Friday. If Glennallen was looking for revenge after losing 38-27 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cheyenne Fields, who scored seven points. Alianna Stone was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Glennallen's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-5. As for Nenana, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Glennallen won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Warriors on January 27th. Nenana's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Wolverines on January 27th.
