If Holt was feeling good  fresh off their  42-7 takedown of Waverly last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams took  a  28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Everett Vikings on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the  29-20 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2024.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Ladon Hatcher, who rushed for 97 yards and a pair of  TDs. Hatcher also  punched in two  rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Holt is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise. The Rams also got help from  Greyson Widmeyer, who showed off his sure hands for 108  receiving yards.

Holt's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Everett,  with the  victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-3.
 Coming up, Holt will challenge East Lansing at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Everett, they will square off against DeWitt at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31  points  in their last six games.
