The Navarre Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Pace Patriots at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Navarre is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
On Friday, Navarre had to suffer through a rough 76-48 loss at the hands of Milton. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Navarre has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Pace ended up a good deal behind Crestview on Tuesday and lost 52-38. While losing is never fun, Pace can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 567th, while Crestview is ranked 272nd).
Navarre's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Pace, they bumped their record down to 2-6 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
Navarre might still be hurting after the 53-31 defeat they got from Pace when the teams last played back in February. Can Navarre avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
