Fugate has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Eugene Young Jr was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Carroll had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They escaped with a win on Thursday against Huntington North by the margin of a single free throw, 52-51.
Fort Wayne North Side's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6. As for Carroll, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.
Everything came up roses for Fort Wayne North Side against the Chargers in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 79-48 victory. Will Fort Wayne North Side repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
