The Vacaville Bulldogs will challenge the Rocklin Thunder at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Vacaville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over Elk Grove. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Vacaville got a massive performance out of Paige Witte, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those four hits gave Witte a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hayden Kyne, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
Vacaville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .484. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elk Grove only posted a batting average of .259.
Meanwhile, Rocklin never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on Inderkum with a sharp 10-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Thunder as they're now sitting on six straight.
Brooke Lomelli was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Addie Titlow was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
Rocklin pushed their record up to 21-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Vacaville, their victory bumped their record up to 18-8.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Vacaville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .457. However, it's not like Rocklin struggles in that department as they've averaged .334. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Vacaville skirted past Rocklin 1-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2019. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Thunder have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
