The Dalton Catamounts fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 51-41 win over Cass on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Dalton also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Kobi Cooper continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Jermichael Craft, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Dalton's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11. As for Cass, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dalton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Rome at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th. Rome is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Cass, they will be playing at home against Woodland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Woodland is ranked 371st, while Cass is ranked 391st).
