South Salem was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 25-19.
South Salem got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Avery Axmaker out in front who had 12 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Briella Mathis, who hit 78.9% for 16 killsten digs and four aces.
She wasn't the only good server: South Salem was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive matchups.
