Softball Recap: Turkey Valley Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Turkey Valley's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Waukon Indians by a score of 6-3. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 9-0 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in June of 2024.

Turkey Valley's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Waukon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Turkey Valley will square off against North Fayette Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Turkey Valley is facing North Fayette Valley at the right time seeing as North Fayette Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Waukon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Hampton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
