Potosi had a rough outing against Ste. Genevieve three weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Potosi got past New Madrid County Central with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 24-18.
The win bumped Potosi's record up to 4-3. The loss dropped New Madrid County Central's record to 4-3.
Potosi will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against DeSoto in two weeks at 7:00 PM. As for New Madrid County Central, they will face off against Sikeston. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
