The Durfee Hilltoppers will head out on the road to square off against the Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Friday, Durfee didn't have too much trouble with Bridgewater-Raynham on the road as they won 78-64. The win made it back-to-back wins for Durfee.
Meanwhile, Somerset Berkley Regional entered their tilt with West Bridgewater with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Somerset Berkley Regional claimed a resounding 72-42 win over West Bridgewater at home. Somerset Berkley Regional has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.
Finnian Bjork continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Maxwell Finlaw, who scored 11 points.
Durfee is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Somerset Berkley Regional, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.
Durfee couldn't quite finish off Somerset Berkley Regional in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 and fell 70-67. Can Durfee avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
