Meanwhile, St. Augustine had to suffer through a rough 54-7 loss at the hands of Giddings Lonestar Southeast. While losing is never fun, St. Augustine can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 238th, while Giddings Lonestar Southeast is ranked 60th).
The losses dropped Logos Prep Academy to 1-7 and St. Augustine to 0-5.
Everything came up roses for Logos Prep Academy against St. Augustine in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 84-35 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Logos Prep Academy since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
