Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vergennes). They strolled past the Williamstown Blue Devils with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 79-62. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Commodores with their most commanding win of the season.

Williamstown lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Evan Bailey, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 23 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Another player making a difference was Nick Mascitti, who went 6 of 9 en route to 14 points along with four blocks and three steals.

The victory was the third in a row for Vergennes, bringing their record for this year to 3-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Williamstown, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
