It was fun while it lasted, but Braintree's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Monday. They fell to the Durfee Hilltoppers 61-57. The loss was the Wamps' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Braintree fell to 4-1. As for Durfee, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Braintree will finish 2024 at home by hosting Abington at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Durfee, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Brockton at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
