It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the O'Dea Fighting Irish can now relate to. They took a 21-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines. O'Dea's loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.
Christian Winn and Jason Brown jr certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Winn rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while Brown jr rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown.
Among those leading the charge was Carson Rubin, who rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns.
O'Dea's defeat dropped their record down to 11-1. As for Bellevue, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2.
O'Dea does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bellevue is on the road again on Friday and play against Yelm at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Yelm: 9.7, Bellevue: 16.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
