It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Celina Bobcats can now relate to. They fell to the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees 7-3. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, Celina couldn't push the score so high this time.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Stephenville's defense and their seven sacks. Celina's QB won't forget Philip Wiggins anytime soon given Wiggins sacked him three times.
Celina's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Stephenville, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.
Celina does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Stephenville will be playing in front of their home fans against Anna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Anna will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
